Rochester, NY –Asher Group, www.ashergroup.com, a leading IVR and telecommunications services company serving clients throughout North America, Europe, announced today that Cornell University has just expanded their use of Hyper-Reach Emergency Notification Services to include 50,000 faculty, staff, and students. Cornell University has used the notification service for physical plant emergencies for 3 years. Asher Group has been receiving dozens of calls from higher educational institutions and has put together special package pricing of $5,000 for a campus-wide annual account.
Hyper-Reach is a hosted service, with the ability to deliver a message to any telephone, email, text, or TDD device. The service provides secure web-based management for customers to enter or upload their notification contacts. Thereafter, a notification campaign may be started either via the web or from any telephone. Hyper-Reach is hosted from three secure facilities in upstate New York, providing high capacity and redundancy. Several government and private institutions throughout the US already use Hyper-Reach, among them Monroe County 9-1-1 and Lockheed Martin.
